$160 - $190k base Depending on ExperienceMust-have skills o Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field o 7
years of industry experience developing commercial systems in a Linux/BSD environment o Web proxies (forward and reverse proxy) o Working knowledge of TCP/IP/IPv6 networking and load balancing technology o Ability to develop maintainable, well-designed software under tight deadlines o Experience implementing and maintaining unit, integration and system tests o Passion for solving hard problems o Excellent communication and collaboration skills o Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science fundamentalsPlus to have Skills o Identity management o Content distribution network and web caching o Web application firewall o Fundamentals of network security o Working knowledge of security technology such as URL categorization, content inspection o Working knowledge of system performance analysis and tuning o Working knowledge of data streaming systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ o Industry commercial development experience using C, C++, Go, and Java o Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, CloudFront, CloudWatch, VPC, CloudFormation) o Deep knowledge of TypeScript o Experience in a continuous integration/deployment environment o Experience in medium to large scale cloud-based environments o Some experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, & PHP o Interest in privacy and the protection of personal information o Experience developing with security APIs and technologies o Ability to support services with an on call rotationAbout Maxonic:
