GRAIL is looking for a full-time Senior Software Engineer for the Software Test Team whose technical strengths focus on writing software for testing automation of application integrations using a middleware platform and API integration.
In this role, you will be involved in writing software for end-to-end test scenarios, developing and debugging test automation scripts, executing, and then integrating those tests in the platform for ongoing automated regression testing.
This position is located at GRAIL's headquarters in Menlo Park, CA with a hybrid work schedule of in the office 2 days a week.
ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development in Python and Java.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API Integrations.
Develop unit, regression, and integration tests using appropriate tools (e.
g.
Postman for APIs, Go, Javascript, Python, Java) in a GitLab repo.
Perform appropriate verification and validation of the test scripts.
Update and manage CI/CD pipeline for regression/release testing.
Conduct Manual Testing of User-facing Applications where necessaryCollaborate with the Application Engineering team on a sprint release cadence.
Preferred QualificationsIdeal candidate will have a BS/BA and 5
years or a Masters and 2
years of experience in software development for automated testing experience or equivalent.
Good understanding/exposure to overall API-Management concepts & fundamentals.
Experience in developing RAML-based RESTful API and Grpc.
Programming experience in Go, JavaScript, Python, or JavaGood understanding of data structures and database queries.
Experience with Salesforce, DB, and File/FTP.
Good understanding of enterprise integration patterns.
A solid understanding of web application testing and UI automation with WDIO.
Experience with middleware testing.

Excellent written and verbal listening and communication skills.
The expected, full-time, annual base pay scale for this position is $148,000 - 180,000.
Actual base pay will consider skills, experience, and location.
Based on the role, colleagues may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance, or an incentive plan.
