Meta is looking for a dynamic team player to serve as Lead Counsel on the Ad Sales Legal team.
This role will provide strategic legal support to Meta's Global Business Group and Small Business Group Americas sales teams.
This is a great opportunity to work on novel issues in an exciting and fast-paced environment.
Counsel, Meta Business Group ResponsibilitiesServe as a frontline legal advisor to the Americas Sales teams (North America and Latin America) supporting large and small advertisers leveraging Meta's suite of advertising and business tools.
Develop scalable resources, trainings, and guidance to address frequent inquiries on legal, regulatory, compliance and policy topics and concerns from Sales and advertiser inquiries.
Analyze product terms, policies and initiatives to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies across multiple jurisdictions in the Americas.
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to support Sales and advertiser communications and go-to-market launches.
Coordinate with Legal teams across Privacy, Competition, Regulatory, Litigation, Compliance, Integrity and Employment in support of Global Business Group and Small Business Group goals and objectives.

years of legal experience as a practicing attorney (including at a law firm or in-house experience)Knowledge of legal frameworks that apply to data-driven advertising, including as it relates to regulated and restricted goods.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
