This position will play a key role in advising on Facebook s AML compliance program, specific to our payments and commerce products as well as providing legal support for our broader AML compliance initiatives.

Associate General Counsel, Global Anti-Money Laundering Compliance ResponsibilitiesProvide legal advice and support for our commerce and payments products relating to AML obligations and risk mitigationsCollaborate and align with relevant functions e.

IT, Payments Compliance and others to optimize, draft, review and implement AML compliance policies, processes and trainingAdvise on AML compliance risks for commercial and non-commercial transactions, and non-transactional activityConduct internal compliance investigations and risk assessments and support external auditsUndertake special projects and support other AML and broader financial crime compliance program initiativesMinimum QualificationsJ.

Degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
