5G/LTE/IMS Core Integration EngineerJob Role:
Manage and operate various industry standard 4G/5G packet and IMS core solutionsConfigure and troubleshoot EPC/IMS elements including MME, PCRF, SPGW, xCSCFs for various features such as VoLTE, VoWiFi, SMS and Advanced Services call features like call waiting, caller ID etc.
Design and execute interoperability, performance and load scenario test cases across different core and RAN elementsSupport troubleshooting E2E 4G/5G call scenarios with various RAN and external core elementsSkills Required Excellent understanding of 4G/5G standard call FlowsExtensive experience configuring and managing 4G/5G Cores and IMS coresExperience with SIP, Diameter, and Service Based Architecture (SBA) interfacesExperience with Core and UE simulation tools such as from Ixia/Viavi/Spirent (TM500, TeraVM, ixLoad, LoadCore, Landslide)Strong understanding and troubleshooting skills on UE/Radio air interface and 3GPP Radio to 4G/5G Core interfaces (LTE:
S1, S11, S6, 5G:
N1-N5)Knowledge and understanding of basic networking and Linux/OpenSystem NFVI conceptsDesirable SkillsKnowledge of 4G/5G RAN and vRAN conceptsExperience with Policy/Charging and QoS enforcement configurations including interfaces like Gx, Gy,SWxExperience in DevOps, CI/CD automation conceptsNetworking fundamentals and ability to configure/manage switches/router etc.
