We are looking for a junior hardware engineer with a great attitude and a willingness to learn. We need a proactive person to assist with hardware development in a fast paced environment. THIS IS NOT AN FPGA, or ASIC design internship.
Responsibilities
Assisting Senior Engineers with Design and Validation
Schematic design
Locating and specification of components
Test and validation
Bring up and debug
Collaboration
Reviewing your work with others and actively reviewing others work in a collaborative environment
Regular interaction with Firmware, Mechanical, and Hardware Engineers.
Desired Skills and Experience
Self-motivated team player who is detail-oriented and results-focused
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with
Logic circuits: discrete and programmable
Memory: DDR, NAND
Power: linear and switched regulators, thermal design
Signal integrity
Basic analog circuitry
x86 and ARM architectures
Modular systems
Familiarity with Design Tools
Schematic capture (Concept preferred)
Layout tool (plus-Allegro preferred)
Spice simulators
Field solvers (plus)
Scripting languages (Python preferred)
