Mobile Infrastructure Software Engineer - PHP, Java, C++
We are seeking a Mobile Infrastructure Software Engineer - PHP, Java, C+
to support one of our direct customers in Menlo Park, CA for a long term assignment over 12
months.
Responsibilities
o Software engineering in PHP, Java, C++
o Frontend components integrating with Mobile Operators, Push notification providers and MNP Database providers
o Core SMS and Notifications API development
o External Partner Portal and Support System development
o Internal Portals for System and Service Administration
Requirements
o 3-5 years of work experience in the mobile space
o Expert understanding of SMS/MMS/notification/messaging systems and related infrastructure management
o BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
o Ability to code really well in at least one language (even if it is not one that Facebook uses)
o Ability to rapidly learn new development languages (PHP, Python, C++, and Java are all in heavy use)
o Ability to pick up new software, frameworks and APIs quickly
