Operations Support Engineer - Mobile
We have an immediate contract opportunity with a large F500 client in the Menlo Park, CA area.
The primary focus of this role is to investigate and help resolve issues that are related to SMS or TCP/IP connectivity. As the team grows this position will also help refine the support tools and service models that our client use's to deliver the best possible support service.
Responsibilities:
o Deliver technical support inline with a set of departmental service levels
o Working with the mobile infrastructure engineering team to fault find/escalate issues
o Liaising with carrier/operator partners on technical issues around connectivity
o Troubleshooting problems with configuration or service delivery
o Work with cross functional teams to deliver high impact results
Requirements:
o Familiar with standards related to telecommunications protocols
o Experience either working in or supporting a Network Operations Center (NOC)
o Protocol experience in one or more of the following:SS7, SMPP, TCP/IP, VPN
o Telecommunications Infrastructure experience in one of more of the following:SMS-C, GGSN, SGSN
o Experience with roaming architectures and/or charging gateways would be advantageous
o Experience in analyzing protocol logs and network traces
o Strong skills in critical thinking and data analysis
o Written and Verbal fluency in English

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
