Mine massive amounts of data and extract useful product insights. Responsible for development of data resources, gather requirements, organize sources, and support product launches. Apply expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how users interact with Facebooks core product. Partner with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities. Inform, influence, support, and execute product decisions. Build data analytical tools and applications. Provide technical business intelligence and analysis for products by analyzing technology trends and strategies to identify markets for future product development or to improve existing products. Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of products. Develop and modify business intelligence tools for product analysis.
Employer will accept a Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related or a data-related occupation.
