Work on detection of potential and active threats with the CERT team, and respond accordingly. Monitor host activity on Windows, Mac and Linux assets. Monitor network activity in the corporate network and in the production network. Develop and deploy intelligence to identify compromise. Perform sensitive security investigations while maintaining high levels of confidentiality. Perform penetration testing audits on internal infrastructure to identify and fix detection and response weaknesses. Understand different attack types and document them in play books, with steps to perform to avoid or detect such attacks. Determine the scope of a breach through log analysis and forensics. Gather and synthesize relevant data, making improvements in the tools and techniques to help scale the team.
Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field , followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
