MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field and seven years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
DESCRIPTION: Define the roadmap, design the architecture, and implement new innovative features, including state-of-the-art technologies, into PunchBoxs gaming products, including Cocos2d-x and Cocos2d-js game engines and CocoStudio and Cocos IDE visual game editors. Facilitate the successful adoption of the Cocos2d-x cross-platform mobile game engine into global markets. Evaluate and modify PunchBoxs mobile gaming platforms to correct errors and glitches and to improve overall performance and user experience. Oversee PunchBoxs engineering and product teams to ensure that production workflow is maintained and that development goals are met in a timely manner.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Expertise in designing and developing multi-platform game engines
Proven ability to construct maintainable and efficient code
Expertise in managing development teams
Expertise in ARM and Intel assembly, C, C++11, Objective-C, and JavaScript languages
Expertise in mobile and desktop toolchains (debuggers, compilers, and profilers), including Apple Xcode, Android NDK, and Microsoft Visual Studio
Expertise in both mobile and desktop graphics technologies, including OpenGL and OpenGL ES
