Real Property Management Specialist, GS-1101-09 (MP-EG)

As a Real Property Management Specialist within the Office of Management Services, Facility Leasing & Management Branch, some of your specific duties will include:
Planning, managing, and coordinating the acquisition and management of space in real property for assigned USGS geographic areas. Developing Cost Center space requirements for GSA leases or USGS direct leases. Evaluating requests for space and the justification for additional space including office, storage, laboratory, and ware-yard space. Applying and interpreting laws, regulations, policies, standards and procedures in the context of Federal real property. Operating a government vehicle as an incidental driver.

Specialized
Experience:
You must have 1-year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Examples include:
Working in Office 365 Tools such as Word and Excel, and FBMS basic operations. Providing basic guidance with Real Property Management. Monitoring and evaluating real property operations to ensure compliance with Federal, Departmental, and USGS policies and procedures. Providing cradle to grave project management for real property acquisitions. The GS-9 grade level is developmental, so all work performed will be under the guidance of the section supervisor. OR Education:
You must have master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. OR a combination of appropriate specialized experience (as described above) and graduate education (as described above) that is beyond the first year of progressive graduate study to meet the qualification requirements.
