Not required RELOCATION INCENTIVE/RECRUITMENT INCENTIVE IS NOT AUTHORIZED. The major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Provides total supply chain management for various services within VA Palo Alto Health Care System. ranging from inventory management to storage management to fund control management to procurement. Responsible for utilizing storage management techniques for ensuring that general storage areas are neat and orderly, that supplies are put away and rotated properly, that items are identified for easy access, and receipts/usage are recorder/captured using correct conversion factors/issue units. He/she is responsible for reviewing non-issuable stock and determining the reasons why items are in this status. He/she will initiate appropriate action or remove items in non-issuable status. Will possess procurement activities to include micro-purchases less then $3K with purchase card and delivery orders processed by delegated ordering officer for routine consumable items. Designated as the Control Point Requester and Clerk and will utilize the DHCP-IFCAP Control Point menu options. The using service will function as the Control Point Official having the final approval authority fir all request. He/she shall enter-edit requests and accurately reports a running balance to include expenditures, transfers and allocations. Performs other related duties as assigned. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-7 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-6. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note:

Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-6 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Knowledge of Procurement and trade practices with respect to sales, prices, discounts, leveraged buying volume discounts/economics of scale, delivery/handling charges, budget analysis/forecasting, provisioning, transportation/bills of lading, storage, cataloging. etc., in order to perform material management process and make material management determination for items raging from common supplies available off the shelf to specialized goods, services and equipment. Knowledge of the IFACP GIP computer system and the various routines therein as they apply to the inventorying and ordering process i.e., fund control point menus/options, IFCAP, GIP, AMES/MERS, Purchasing Agent's Menu, Control Point Menu, and Requisition Menu. Physical Requirements:
The position is sedentary in nature; however the work requires some physical effort, such as standing, walking, bending, stooping and sitting. The work requires prolonged data entry into computerized systems which may cause visual or physical strain. here also may be moderate discomfort when visiting sites away from the office such as storage centers, warehouses, etc. where there may be need to research receiving discrepancies on purchase orders, research shipping requirements to prepare Bill of Lading, ets. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
