Printing Specialist

The major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Analyzes electronic files and/or hard copies for proper conformity; Assists editors/writers of programs, books, trifolds, forms, booklets etc.; Maintains accurate maintenance and contract records for equipment, operations and continuance; Tracks and maintains records reflecting status of printing jobs conducted, costs, suspense controls; Prints and processes a wide variety of publications including, printing, binding and photographic reproductions; Exercises care and judgement in the receipt, handling and transmission of classified material; Operates software inventory of publication products; Knowledge of Windows and Mac computer system operations; Performs other duties as assigned. Experience:
You must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in Federal service (GS-6) with responsibilities close to the work of this position that has given you the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required to independently perform the duties of a Printing Specialist. Specialized experience is experience gained providing assistance to editors/writers of programs, books, forms ,certificates etc. Support performing duties such as:
prioritizing all incoming printing and duplication requisitions for completeness; Analyzes electronic files and/or hard copies for proper conformity and operates digital duplicating and press equipment for mass reproduction; Tracks and maintains records reflecting status of printing jobs conducted, costs, suspense controls, and automated programs; Prints and processes a wide variety of publications including, printing, binding and photographic reproductions; Knowledge of Windows and Mac computer system operations. Working closely with management and support staff. NOTE:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
